Farewell..

final hours of summer.. oh.. i will miss the heat, sunshine, lazy days, sand burning your feet, late nights, sunburn..then the tan :), the warm waters of the ocean.... but autum is still beautiful, and i'll make the most of winter and spring, then feel the excitement for summer holidays again! goodbye summer, you will be missed..

sigh..

tonight was so fun, i could stayed home and done homework like i should, but instead serena and i went to charlestown. we saw the movie 'first love', i loved it. then a treat at max brenner, and the chocolate wasn't the only yummy thing there (ahem, waiters ahh). i had a really good, happy night, playing on the playground with 5 year olds and remembering how awesome it would have been at that age, then running through the fountain, such a sense of freedom..

(not to mention lots of photo taking :) )

but now i have to go back to school for another week, learning things that hold no interest to me. but i'll be daydreaming of making daisy chains, basking in the sun and diving into the ocean..

my younger sister

The other day, we went to the foreshore. my sister and i went for a walk along the harbours edge, my sister claimed that we were looking for mermaids and i went along with it, it was so sweet. we then started picking up the rubbish so they wouldn't blow into the water, it wasn't much but it was something. her dissapointment when we didn't see any was upsetting, but it reminded me of how good it was to be younger and really take those things to heart. i plan to go on another mermaid search with her, and on that magical day we will meet some.

summers ending, schools still in progress (unfortunately for 4 more years) and things are falling apart at the seams. i sound depressed but im not, just things arn't going my pleasing way. hopefully these final days of warmth and sunshine will bring the happiness back.

soon it unfolds who we are, in this masquerade of stars

i miss the hot weather, the cool change was nice for a while,  but now its made me sick and full of boredom. warmth and sunshine come back!
